Washington University urologists, who are part of a multidisciplinary care team at the Siteman Cancer Center, offer a second opinion for patients diagnosed with prostate cancer, bladder cancer, testicular cancer and kidney masses, tumors and lesions. Every effort is made to quickly schedule patients requesting a second opinion, and this service is available at both the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis and the satellite facility on the campus of Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital in Creve Coeur.

Our urologists join with medical oncologists, radiation therapists, nurses and other support staff to offer the latest in specialized treatments for all forms of urologic cancers. This includes minimally invasive surgery to remove tumors and nerve-sparing treatment for prostate and bladder cancer as well as new anti-cancer drugs and hormonal and biological therapies. Clinical trials of investigational treatments for all urologic cancers are open to patients meeting criteria for those trials.
