Applications for the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Program should be submitted online through the SCC and ACS Fellowship Application Service (SAFAS). The application process requires three letters of reference. If you presently are in training or recently have completed training, one of these letters should come from the director of your residency training program.
A preliminary review of each application will be made upon receipt of a completed application. Qualified applicants will be invited to come to St. Louis to learn more about the fellowship. This one-day process consists of rounds in the SICU in the morning, lunch with the current fellows and interviews with multiple program faculty members. Interviews are individually arranged at a mutually convenient time.
Please note that our program participates in the National Resident Matching Program. The match is open from June 4-October 1.
